We are constantly evaluating our security protocols and regularly add additional measures to ensure the data stored in Elation Health is secure and protected. We also use very strict requirements for the passwords that all Elation users are required to adhere to. We use the same security protocols (256-bit SSL/TLS to encrypt the traffic flowing from our servers to your doctors office and AES-256 to encrypt the data on our servers) that your bank and other high-security online sites use to ensure that your medical information is never visible to unauthorized people. We act on behalf of your medical provider to store their patients’ confidential health data and, through your medical provider, are legally bound to comply with the laws and regulations set by the US Department of Health and Human Services and the US Congress in maintaining health data confidential. Only your medical provider or persons your medical provider gives access to to help facilitate your care will be able to access your confidential health data. The OM SYSTEM WS Series is a compact and versatile stereo voice recorder, perfect for capturing personal notes and conversations on-the-go. Your information will not be shared with any third party. Has a lot of very difficult scenes (middle of the night with the mixture of artificial lighting and lightnings, ISOs in the 2000-5000 range with a f/1.2 lens) from the last trip, trying to come up with reasonably good looking WB is a real chore with Viewer 3.Simply put: Yes, we take security very seriously and as a government-certified electronic medical record system, we have put in place bank-grade security protocols and infrastructure to protect your health data and keep it confidential. My main reasons for using Olympus Viewer 3 is to fully obtain the original Olympus JPEG files, preserving the signature colors (which I think is the best, very true to life and pleasing to the eyes in comparison to any other camera manufacturers). And it is not like you can buy a computer significantly faster that what I have, short of dual-processor workstations in $10K range. 1) I use Olympus Viewer 3 to convert Olympus RAW images (.orf files) to JPEG. Ive never used Olympus conversion software, so I thought Id give the latest version a try. Now I have to press that button all the time, because previews just don't show anything close to the final results at all. I did not have a problem before, as previews were realistic. I wonder how much Lightroom is faster than this. But horribly slow to add upgrades for new cameras. The most popular versions among the software users are 2.4, 1.5 and 1.4. The fastest RAW converter that I've met is Corel AfterShot Pro, versions for Win/Mac/Linux and has a 30 day trial to see if it works for you. We cannot confirm if there is a free download of this software available. Jpeg is simple adjusts, RAW is about the 4 pixel RGGB interpolation into single RGB pixels, plus the adjusts. Their JPEG editor works much faster for some reason. Yes, it is slow, but thorough ! You get what you pay for and it is very good for a freebie, especially as it can also handle all brand camera jpegs. Repeat steps 7 but choose the OLYMPUS folder you just created under your user. To the point of them having a button to actually preview (and their "fast" preview is really just not really previewing anything even at half-screen resolution of the preview window). 11- Copy your database (the OLYMPUS folder on the external drive) to your user's Appdata/Local/ folder (same path as step 2 but for your new user if it's different). Is it just me, or Olympus Viewer 3 really processes RAWs so much slower (compared to Viewer 2)? I mean, it takes like 20 seconds (more if I touch certain settings) to process a file on a Core i7 3.4GHz, plenty of memory, SSD.
